Ventus Energy Inc. ("Ventus") is a developer of Canadian wind farm projects. It is currently in the process of planning and developing 25 sites in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI and Newfoundland with the potential for over 5,000 Megawatts of power. These projects are in various stages of development, with rights to over 17 million acres of land use secured along with numerous wind studies, interconnection and environmental assessments taking place.

In May 2007, Ventus announced that its West Cape facility became the first Canadian independant power producer to export wind power to the United States.
