Our philosophy is to add "useful" value - in good times or bad - through the provision of venture debt at very attractive rates relative to dilutive nature and/or control features or equity or preferred share instruments. Our approach is predicated on being responsive to a client's needs, but we do not seek negative controls or shareholders agreements as in the case of a Venture Capital fund. Likewise, we do not require weekly monitoring as might be expected from a traditional debt provider.

If requested, our Advisory Council might be called upon by our clients to assist a company's senior management and work with them to enhance or execute the company's business plan and near term objectives. This could lead to the inclusion of capital market initiatives in the plan that, due to limited resources, would not otherwise be undertaken, such as acquisitions, follow-on financings, strategic partnerships and mergers.
