10 October 2009After a disappointing third place finish at the Fall PGA Championship last week we played extremely well at Brampton winning by 5 shots.The effort spend on the range is starting to show up, still I haven’t been striking the ball as well on the course replicating the range, knowing that it will start to show up during the first stage .
The two date event started with my Pro am team of Rocky, Jason and Mathew Pantalone, our team didn’t make the price table but there had to be something in our team formula that led to a win! Having shot 69 and trailing the leaders by three strokes , knowing that my ball striking was heightened left me in a good position.
Wow! Probably the toughest conditions I’ve played in , winds gusting to 70 km and rain sweeping the fairways made ball striking a premium. Its an honor to be the first two time winner of the Moe Norman Cup!!!
