Excited about new “Swing”
18 April 2008
I believe that Einstein stated that the definition of insanity was to repeated actions or thoughts that constantly produced bad results! Qualifying school is a process of learning about your strengths and weaknesses; ether giving in to the system or moving ahead making your strengths stronger and sharpen the weaknesses. As an instructor of the game and a passion to play at the highest level I had to increase my level of play both mechanically and physically. In doing so I made a passionate effort to raise my game and my knowledge base to a higher level, with the tutelage of one of Canada most up in coming instructors Sean Foley and the strength coach Dr. Craig Davies. I have developed a system that will allow me to compete at the PGA Tour level in future. The development of a “Single Axis” motion in my swing and my teaching philosophy has been confirmed with some tournament wins and another course record, I’m very excited and look forward to an incredible 2008!

Hey Danny. I was playing Magna with Gerry Smith friday and we chatted with you on the way out. He was gushing about his single axis swing etc. The guy is a bull of a man and hits it a mile – and now he is more in control. I am a member at Barrie CC and have been reading about Stack and Tilt etc and want to revamp my golf swing. Who did you go to get Single Axis’d and any thoughts on who/how I could get started either up my way or in Toronto? I really appreciate the read. Given the Ont PGA Champ is at Barrie I have followed your career lately with interest and wish you continuing good luck. Do you teach non- magna members as well? Thanks for the read

danny, i know how hard you have been working…and i was really upset when i saw that for the MOMENT your goal was not realized…you have it all…go for it. ash
p.s …i think i have come close to mastering the driver (your way…through barry) but i have been struggling with the irons …is there a ball position that is better for your way of swinging??
Try positioning the ball a clubhead width from your front foot, you should error on the forwrd side!
It was great to work with your father and good luck this winter
