BNN Business News Network invited our Vancouver-based Fund III portfolio company Vision Critical to come on Business Day with Catherine Murray. Vision Critical CEO Scott Miller gave viewers a taste of what the company does, and you’ll get a sense of the attention that the company is receiving from Bay Street and the Valley when you hear about the topline growth.
Wellington Financial Fund III got involved in 2006, back when Angus, Andrew Reid, Gord Baizley and the then management team had about 30 staff, single digit revenue and Telus Ventures was the only external institutional capital. Bridgescale Partners joined the syndicate later, and Howard Gwin and Derek Smyth of OMERS Ventures invested $20 million about a year ago.
Today, Scott and CFO Donna de Winter have a complement of 650, and Angus continues to be involved with the company on a daily basis as Executive Chairman.
Here’s the interview clip.
