NY Times on Toronto Raptors

15 April 2007

Calling Toronto’s NBA team the most improved of the year in the league, the New York Times did a nice piece today on our Atlantic division winners.

Here’s an excerpt:

Returning to the playoffs after a five-year absence, the new-look Raptors — who share the ball as freely as they do jokes — may be the most refreshing team in the N.B.A.

In the same way that Bosh saw no contradiction in being selfless and a star, he embraced his team’s uncanny chemistry. “It’s not weird because it’s fun,” Bosh said in an interview Thursday. “I think every team should try it.”

Reminds me a bit of our interest in the culture of a management team when we are sizing up a deal. Teams that seem to enjoy working together have a distinct appeal.
