I'm totally looking forward to the upcoming federal election. I sort of feel in past elections the Internet was limited to a supporting role, and was still in a type of beta phase politically here in Canada. However I think we've reached a point where all sorts of groups and individuals will use the Internet as a way to add to the spin and momentum of the campaigns. It should be exciting! And yes, it should almost certainly increase voter turnout.
