U of T BumpTop buzz

Here’s something that’s causing a buzz, and it from up the street at the University of Toronto: a 3D desktop called BumpTop. A way of stacking things on your computer desktop, just like a messy desk. And then organize, and then delete. Etc.

It is supposedly so cool that there was a parody on YouTube, although they might have posted it themselves and then removed it to create even more buzz.

And it’s working.

The founders posted their own 7 minute video, and they had 1.5 million views at last count.

If you know what BumpTop is, please let us know. One feels the burning need to finance it, even if there’s no obvious commercial need for whatever it is that they are trying to do.
